Quad biking was fantastic! Really easy to book, we just popped in after a trip to Aira Force and were greeted by two lovely collies who showed us to the reception! Everyone was super friendly and helpful and James who took us out was super. Would definitely recommend, well worth the money 👍🏻 …

Brilliant two clay shooting sessions with Alistair; Alistair’s coaching of my wife who was shooting for very 1st time was excellent; made her feel comfortable and confident; even in the damp rainy weather, we had tremendous fun; couldn’t recommend enough and what a character to put you at ease. Deb was awesome also handling booking / weather logistics. Definitely be back next visit to the Lakes!

Upon arriving we were greated very warmly. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and helped put me at ease with clay pigeon shooting, he ensured that me and my partner were comfortable with the equipment and understood the safety aspects, checking that the shotgun was positioned correctly before we shot. He also gave very good tips while we were shooting which helped improve the shot accuracy. Would very highly recommend trying clay pigeon shooting and we will definitely be returning for a repeat and to do other activities! It makes for an extremely fun experience. I also got a trophy with the first shot I did :)

Spent a lovely few hours here at the end of our trip to The Lakes in July 23. We opted for the 2 hour horse trek which made for a great end to the holiday on such a a beautiful sunny day too. Great professional staff and lovely horses.

Full of fun and adventure with loads to explore and experience from quad biking through to clay shooting and horse riding. A nice wee cafe for drinks with amazing staff what more can you ask for 😊 …

We had a wonderful day here! It was such an amazing day for the price and we cannot praise the owner Ail and his staff enough! It was absolutely wonderful and the open music night just topped it all off! 100% recommend! Also top service from Fred the dog, met us at the car, joined us for lunch and gave lots of free cuddles in return for head scratches.

My partner and I had a one hour hack at Rookin House. We were met in the car park by a very friendly collie who led us the way to reception. After filling out the client registration forms we were introduced to our guide, Claire, and our horses Titan and Bridget. The ride was lovely through a patch of forest and over the hills with some excellent views. We had some lovely trots and canters along the woodland paths. One of their rules is no mobile phones on the rides, so we weren't able to take any photos.

highly recommend the clay pigeon shooting! we went for the taster session and alastair (the owner) made it so fun and engaging, he really took care of us and i would 100% go back again. he even gave us our empty cartridges to bring back as souvenirs!
